Liberating Learning - Lunch Wednesday, July 22, 2009 - Minneapolis

Terry M. Moe and John E. Chubb will be speaking at a luncheon sponsored by the Center of the American Experiment.They have a new book Liberating Learning. They contend that technology will make schools better by replacing the "dead hand of monopoly with the dyanmism of diversity and competition." The public is welcome.

Minnesota Tea Parties - July 4th 2009

The big Tea Party will be at the State Capitol Mall in St. Paul on the 4th of July from 3 pm to 6 pm. Other Tea Party gatherings are scheduled for other parts of the state as well.

Saturday, August 1, 2009 - American Majority Training Seminar

American Majority, a conservative political training institute, is offering their candidate training seminar on Saturday, August 1, 2009. It will be held at the Kelly Inn, 161 St. Anthony Ave., St. Paul, MN. Registration begins at 8:30 am. It costs $40/participant which includes two meals.
