The Club for Growth's (CFG) policy goals are:
Lower marginal income tax rate
Cutting and limiting government spending
Death Tax Repeal
Expanding free trade
Legal reform to end abusive lawsuits
Replacing current tax code
School choice
Regulatory reform and deregulation
Social Security reform with personal retirement accounts
CFG identifies genuine conservative candidates for U.S. Congress who support the Club’s policy goals—and have a viable opportunity to win election. Then submit those recommendations to the membership so that small contributors can leverage their donations with other like-minded individuals to compound their impact and influence the policy debate.
Recommended candidates have included Pat Toomey, who is running for US Senate in PA and is the immediate past President of the Club, Senators Jim DeMint and Tom Coburn as well as US Representative Michele Bachmann.
